Not that it matters much but just figured i'd make an official posting here pointing out that I dont really swing by here any more and havnt really done much drawing/photography/etc in a while.... I have been working on drawing stick figures though to get the idea of basic proportions and such down soo who knows maybe i'll finally get to drawing my own original creations (or at least stick figure versions >.> ) instead of the awkward front on view i usually draw...

Also I noticed some of the pictures in my gallery arnt showing... dont know why.... Just full view it (first option over to the left) and it'll display fine.

Oh and just in case any one reading this cares (not that i figure they will, just thought I'd throw it out there) i finally have a real job as a mighty.....bagboy at the grocery store =/ meh, gotta start some place right?

Actually Feld's alot bigger, but I needed the troll bigger to make it more dramatic. Had I made the troll smaller I wouldn't have been able to cut his throat out, and it be visible. :chainsaw:

Heheheh, yea he's pretty much screwed on this one...lol. I wanted to bring a lighter side to the drama we usually see in 3D pics. Here you see this huge dramatic looking dragon who's obviously the master of his domain. Total top of the foodchain stuff, and for some odd reason the poor bastard is reduced to a sense of normality when confronted with the task of maintaining discipline and order with toddlers...lmao.
He can kill damn near anything he challenges, yet he can't control four little hatchlings into learning what they need to in order to grow up...hahaha, classic. The tail is actually "claws". It's a conforming fig that came with the pack. I like it because it just looks flatout mean...lol. As far as the welps are concerned, I left them default textured because It would have taken prolly a good week or so just to create new maps for them, plus if you think about it they kinda should be kinda void of heavy detail because as babys they really haven't fully developed their scales and such. They're actually textured very well with bump maps and stuff, but due to the focal view it's really hard to see. I'm considering doing a "love scene" between our little buddy hatchling, and a hatchling sea dragon. We'll so tho.
Thanks for the awesome comment bro, I can always count on good critique from you. Not all the time should a piece get "rave reviews". especially if it doesn't warrent it.

yup you're right, the lightning was done that way purposely tho...lol. I did it with xenofex so I did all the tweaking I wanted. As for color, I wanted to stay away from overbright because the lightning tho a smaller part of the image, would have dominated the focal points of the pic. The shine was actually done manually in ps to add light to him. Had I done it realisticly he would have been washed out because lightning is extremely bright when flashing, especially as close to him as it is. I frikken dig the hell out of your comments tho because you don't BS around you tell it like it is. If something looks off you mention it, instead of sucking up. I'll work on it bro:) and yes Jinx would beat you....lol. She's not overly viscious, but she ain't a pantywaiste either...lol. Take care bro thanks for the awesome comments

Heh no problem :) If you are using xenofex 1 i suggest you use xeno2... the lightning effects are much nicer in there plus you can select the start/stop end points for the bolt unlike xeno 1 (which reminds me i gotta re-install all my alienskin plugins still... what a pain putting in all the serial numbers and crap again for like the 10th time x.X lol)
